Our Giving Back For Children episode profiles organizations aligned with the Giving Back Foundation including The Asia Society, The Eleanor Roosevelt Society and The Hip Hop Council. Founder Meera Ghandi introduces us to various beneficiaries of these programs designed to promote impoverished or at risk youth and others whom possess extraordinary talent seeking opportunity.
The Giving Back Foundation was established in 2010 by Meera Gandhi as a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization in the USA. Its beneficiaries are carefully selected existing charities around the world, with special emphasis on the education of young women and children in need. Uplifting and empowering young women and children, addressing illness, poverty and suffering are the primary activities of the Giving Back Foundation, whose motto is, “We are to the universe only as much as we give back to it.” The Foundation also exists as a platform for debate and discussion, as philanthropic activities continue to evolve around the world.
